Pax Autocratica Weapons List

A current-branch Pax Autocratica weapon lookup method covering exact names, delivery roles, acquisition, compatible users, ammunition, and patch verification.

The current Pax Autocratica Steam page confirms a large equipment loop involving weapons, armor, soldiers, and manufacturing, but it does not publish a complete base-game weapon roster. A trustworthy weapons list therefore begins with names and descriptions read from the public-branch inventory, production, loot, or reward interfaces—not a pre-release tier list.

Capture a weapon entry at the point of use

Record the exact displayed name, category if shown, eligible user, attack or delivery behavior, ammunition or resource, acquisition source, and current directive date. Add numerical values only when the live interface exposes them and keep their units. A number without its difficulty, upgrade, or modifier context is not a comparable stat.

Separate the weapon from installed cores and soldier traits. Test the unmodified behavior where practical so an area effect or status is not assigned to the wrong component.

Organize by battlefield job

Group observed weapons by what their current behavior accomplishes: focused pressure, mobile response, sustained fire, close defense, area control, or another role demonstrated by the game. Do not force a weapon into a familiar shooter category if the interface and test show a different function.

This role-first index helps a player solve a mission without claiming one weapon is universally best. Range, target density, ammunition, squad support, and capture requirements change the value of the same item.

Record acquisition without promising drops

When a weapon appears, note the exact mission, reward panel, container, trader, blueprint, research, or production source you observed. Repeat the source before calling it dependable. If the route varies, say that the observation is one acquisition, not a guaranteed drop.

Owned and inspected

The weapon exists in a current base-game inventory and its visible fields can be recorded.

Source observed

A specific current mission, trader, reward, blueprint, or production path produced it.

Behavior tested

Range, control, ammunition, and role were observed without confusing installed effects.

Needs recheck

An official directive or inventory change may have altered the entry after it was recorded.

Keep capture weapons and damage weapons distinct

Directive AG-14 added three advanced Capture Rounds. Use the exact capture labels shown by the live game and keep them in a capture-purpose subsection rather than ranking them as ordinary damage equipment. Failed-capture protection and the Leader’s melee exception also change how the item is used.

The same caution applies to cores: Vortex Shell and Thunderbolt Arrow are named core effects in AG-14, not evidence for a complete weapons roster. Use the Core List for those entities.

Use the list to choose a test, not declare a winner

Filter by current user, mission role, range, controllability, source, and patch date. Then use Builds to test one candidate under named conditions. Any “best” result should carry the difficulty, mission, squad support, and current directive rather than becoming a timeless tier.

Add a handling note after the first controlled encounter. Describe the distance at which the weapon remains readable, how long the Leader is exposed during its main action, how quickly fire can stop, and what happens while ammunition or another resource is unavailable. These observations let players choose between two owned weapons even when the interface does not expose comparable numerical stats.

Maintain a retirement state as well as an acquisition state. If an update changes the weapon, its source, or its compatible user, preserve the last observed entry with a date and create a new observation. A clean history prevents an old value from silently merging with present behavior.
