Buildings in Pax Autocratica support objectives, production, storage, trade, research, custody, politics, housing, and other colony functions. The current first-party pages do not publish a complete base-game table of sizes, costs, recipes, or unlocks. Use this index to record structures from the live construction and building-detail interfaces without borrowing Prologue limits.
Identify the structure in its current state
Copy the exact visible name and determine whether the structure is damaged, being repaired, locked behind an objective or research, under construction, operational, or upgraded. A building can appear in the colony before every panel or function is available.
Official directives mention the Command Center, Victory Square, Office, Trading Port, walls, and other building-related states. Those references confirm current entities or systems, but do not establish a complete construction cost or footprint.
Group buildings by the task they serve
Keep core objective structures separate from resource intake, storage and logistics, processing, citizen support, military preparation, custody, research, trade, and political control. A building may touch several systems; give it one primary lookup category and cross-reference secondary effects.
This task grouping is more useful than an invented best layout. It tells a player which panel to inspect when food, hauling, conversion, research, or progression stops.
Verify official-update structures carefully
Use the current game to complete records for named structures. AG-14 fixed Trading Port prices and multiple wall, hauling, and building-state issues. Earlier directives addressed repair or objective states around core structures. If the same symptom appears now, reproduce it before claiming the old bug survived.
Placed
The structure name and construction presence are visible in the base game.
Operational
Prerequisites, access, worker, and input allow one intended action to complete.
Flow verified
An input reaches the structure and its output reaches the actual consumer.
Patch-sensitive
An official directive changed its state, trade display, logistics, placement, or related behavior.
Record dimensions and cost only when visible
Construction previews may expose footprint, height, placement rules, cost, or upgrade requirements. Capture the value from the public branch and date it. Do not estimate dimensions from screenshots or copy a Prologue table; smaller product scopes can omit later buildings and upgrades.
For layout strategy, link the verified function and access needs to the Base Building Guide. For the supply chain, use Resource Guide. The index should remain a clean fact lookup rather than becoming a second strategy page.
Recheck a building after research or repair
A research completion, upgrade, repair, or objective hand-in can reveal a new panel or action. Reopen the structure and update its state rather than creating a duplicate entry. If the outcome still does not appear, note the exact unmet condition and preserve the save for support.
Observe the structure through both presence and absence. First watch one complete operating cycle. Then pause its worker or input, where the game safely allows, and identify the downstream building, citizen, objective, or storage that begins waiting. That dependency record explains the facility’s practical role more clearly than a short description alone.
Keep upgrades beneath the base structure unless the current interface treats them as separate placeable entities. Record the before-and-after capacity, action, or flow shown by the game. If an upgrade changes size or access, revise the layout note without rewriting the original construction state.
